Hi All!

I have the amazing opportunity to live abroad for the next year, beginning Nov. 2019! So why not start a travel vlog documenting my experience. The vlog will include all the things you want & need to know about moving from the USA 🇺🇸 to Kuwait 🇰🇼 from a black girl’s perspective💃🏾!

Before any move, preparation is involved. But this time, you’re not moving across town, you’re going waaaaaay ¸¸.•´¯`•¸¸.•..>> over to #Kuwait. So yea, foward your address, cut off your utilities, cable & internet, but also get your affairs in order. If you’ll be living abroad for a year or more, make sure all debtors are squared away, like the IRS or anything that could come back to bite you while overseas & unable to readily access your documents. File those taxes, set up payment plans, cancel your vehicle registration properly so you’re not charged taxes or registration fees & then save money by cancelling your car insurance. The last thing we want is a poppin’ IG page, but an empty bank account due to garnishments. #NoGood I’m currently in this stage. My move happens in Nov. & I’ll be there for a year.

Kuwait is a country that allows you to apply for a tourist Visa at the airport once you arrive in the country, but I’m not about that “hold my breath & hope I don’t get detained” life. So I applied online. Just #google #kuwaitvisa & a few sites will populate. Read carefully and choose the visa that works for your situation (work, tourist, etc.)

More to come, so #StayTuned #BlackGirlInKuwait 💃🏾

I Am (Woman)

Personal experience, accompanied by everyday male opinion, our pussy grabbing President and the fight for civil rights, human rights and gender equality, all contributed to the inception of ‘I Am’. The purpose is to celebrate our natural selves and to empower all ages, sizes, and hues with the understanding of how beautiful, relevant and necessary we are to the earth. We enter the world directly through a woman’s birth canal, yet the disrespect and lack of basic rights to choose what happens to our bodies is an actual topic of discussion, with men at the helm making final determinations. Not only am I a woman, I am a black woman. I am the most disrespected and over sexualized human species on earth. I am more than sex. I am the beginning of life. I am a nurturer. I am a healer. I am a comforter. I am an educator. I am a force. I Am…
